My design process involves working closely with each client, from sketch to final work, to bring their vision to life. I strive to seamlessly combine aesthetic with positive user experience for a product that feels natural both to use and view. Below you can scroll through some of the projects I’ve worked on over the years. Hover over each item for a little insight into the product and process. Campus Digital Signage & Emails
Our students, faculty, and staff at CGTC are located across 3 campuses and 11 centers, which means that interconnecting everyone is no small task. Our Marketing and IT teams collaborated to set up digital signage screens across our locations and now we can easily keep people in the loop from the convenience of a laptop. Many of the graphics we create are also used in our email newsletters to the students for maximum exposure to all the goings-on.
Flyers, Banners & Print Media
Another means of communication with everyone at the college and in the communities. We work very closely with the businesses and schools within our communities, and a lot of times a flyer or a small printed piece helps get the message out there and can also direct them to our website, forms, or social media to get more details or to get in touch directly with a point of contact. Banners can be a long-standing or portable sign that works to a similar effect.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
How we reach out to our community and beyond online. Our social media pages keep our past, present, and future students and parents involved with CGTC from the comfort of their phones. Additionally, we create in-house graphics for advertisements and work with a digital marketing agency to reach our target audience.

Website Redesign
Redesign of the Original Little Surfboards website. This site needed a complete overhaul to become a cohesive and user friendly site that highlighted the product and made the purchase process more efficient. This was part of an entire brand redesign where colors, typefaces, and general styling were carefully chosen to represent the fun surf and art culture of the business.
The entirety of the Original Little Surfboards’ new site is responsive. This is a side by side example of the desktop and mobile versions of the home page. The desktop, tablet, and mobile versions for each and every page were reviewed and edited to make the user experience both visually appealing and efficient.
Email Promotions
When we launched the new website we sent out an email with the left promotion to encourage previous and new patrons to try out our new custom board designer. The right promotion was targeted specifically at previous customers who might want new or multiple copies of the custom boards they had previously purchased.
Mahalo Cards

Board Designer Demo
To create a more hands on design process for our customer, we worked with a back-end developer to create an in-browser design app. This allows the customers to feel more connected to the design process from start to finish. The customer can submit their design idea to receive a quote & are connected to the design team for a professional consultation and further mockups if alterations are needed or desired.
Logos, Branded Content, & Animation
Once quarantine started, Original Little Surfboards began hosting a virtual Endless Summer Camp, ran by Noah Nonsense Now!. I created a logo Endless Summer Camp as well as Noah Nonsense Now!. The Insert on the to right was included in our Camp Activities boxes that we shipped out to all participants.
The animated logo was utilized in the video productions for the Endless Summer Camp activities and all content on the Noah Nonsense Now! YouTube channel.

Rebranding
The rebrand began with the logo design, incorporating a warm and bright color palette with with a fresh font combo. This became the stepping stone to creating a style guide where colors and typefaces were chosen to represent the brand and become a consistent factor across all media.
These guidelines were used to create branded stationary, envelopes, business cards, stickers, rack cards, reusable bags, and the new website.
Website Redesign
The goal for this site redesign was to create a responsive, user friendly site that incorporated the new branding, as well as bring a modern fresh and feel to the experience.
Each page utilizes fresh and bright photography featuring some of the fresh finds at the market.

A personal design project to add to my freelance portfolio. I chose different businesses who’s sites I found could use a little love and did a complete overhaul, including simplified logo design.
Firenze Museum Site Design
This project aimed to bring a more cohesive design to the museum’s website. I focused on highlighting the art featured in the museum and kept a structured and organized layout to avoid being visually overwhelming. The site was fully responsive for tablet and mobile.
